Arthroscopy
I have experience with full-cycle product development of suture anchors including creating and prototyping designs, design control, transfer to manufacturing all the way to launch and sustaining of the final design. I also conducted basic research about bone quality and indications for use. Specific skills that I excel at include design of experiments and V&V testing. I am also proficient at drafting mechanical designs in Solidworks.
Orthopedic Implants
I have experience with process development of orthopedic implants such as the Trumatch Large Bone Cage where I studied critical-to-quality features of the products, developed test methods to study product characteristics, established process windows, identified sources of variation and remedied defects in the process.
Technical Advisor for Medical Devices
I served as the technical lead of due-diligence committees during assessment of potential investments in novel biomaterial technologies. I also provided technical assistance to help bolster the claims of safety, efficacy and quality with regulatory submission.
